Plastic Bag Ghost

I am a bit of a bah humbug when it comes to holidays.  I am not sure why.  My mother always decorated for every holiday and made them so fun.  I just feel like I like my home to be simple.  I hate nic nacs and other things all over the house.  I find that most holiday art is cut and paste type crafts that don't give much scope for the imagination.  

Possibly I need to relax a little.  Kid love holidays and love to see the decor and make fun crafts.  Today I let go of my Halloween hatred and came up with a little idea for making some ghosts.  My mother in law has been visiting and pointed out some cute decor in some of the neighborhoods around my house.  They were hanging ghosts.  I came up with a little idea to make the ghosts myself instead of buying them and I got my older children in on the craft to help me.    

For this craft you need some batting, a sharpie marker, elastic bands, and a white plastic bag.  I didn't have batting so I just tore apart an old pillow I had in my thrift store bin.  It worked really well.  

The only problem I encountered with the project was trying to make the ghost's head circular.  The plastic bag is actually square in shape and I had to try and use the side of the bag rather than the bottom to make the circular shape.  I stuffed the batting into the bag and then wrapped and elastic around it to make the head.  Then I let the kids make their ghost faces.  Simply and easy!  

For mine I made the head much smaller and it was a lot easier (the kids wanted the bigger heads however,)
